Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a food manufacturing facility in Hazelwood, MO. The position offers 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts with hours from 6:00am to 6:30am, covering 24/7 on-call as needed, to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, read blueprints and diagrams, and perform preventive/predictive maintenance on high-speed packaging and processing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance or 4 years of related maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and determine required tools, equipment, parts, manpower, and time
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and arrive prepared with proper tools
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment
• Observe equipment to identify malfunctions and potential failures
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and daily reports
• Ensure compliance with safety and food safety requirements
