Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is hiring a Facilities Technician to respond to maintenance requests, perform preventive tasks, and prepare apartments for turnovers. You will maintain safety, quality, and resident satisfaction in a fast-paced, collegiate environment.

This full-time role requires a strong customer-service mindset, physical stamina, and the ability to work after-hours and weekends as needed. On-site property location with opportunities for growth within the facilities team.

Qualifications

• High school/GED required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or intent to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Safety procedures knowledge with dependable schedule and after-hours flexibility.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the property condition per SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks to minimize liabilities.
• Complete preventive maintenance and daily assignments.
• Document work performed with notes and parts used.
• Assist in completing service requests on time and accurately.
• Engage with residents, staff, contractors, and management with a positive attitude.
• Perform basic appliance, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical tasks as needed.
• Maintain clean work areas and adhere to safety guidelines.
