Job summary

RangeWater Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep interiors, exteriors, and common areas in top condition. You will respond to work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and coordinate with vendors while upholding safety standards.

Strong communication and reliability are essential for resident satisfaction and property upkeep. Experience in apartment maintenance, EPA refrigerant certifications, and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Proficient in building systems and safety procedures.
• Proficient computer skills including property management software.
• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Completes resident work orders within 24–48 hours and performs routine maintenance.
• Prepares vacants for leasing and completes pre-move-out inspections.
• Fixes parts when possible to control costs and uses tools efficiently.
• Manages materials from the maintenance shop and tracks inventory.
• Documents work orders and keeps records updated.
• Inspects contractors' work to ensure quality and compliance.
