Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated seeks a Maintenance Operative to perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a manufacturing setting. You will support safety, predictive and productive maintenance processes to help Hubbell achieve its site goals.

Your day will include preventive maintenance, repairs, and collaboration with engineering on special projects, with opportunities to fabricate tooling and assist mold setups while following

Qualifications

• 1+ years of electromechanical or hydraulic systems experience.
• 1+ years maintenance experience in a continuous manufacturing environment.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Ability to diagnose problems and determine repairs.
• Licensed forklift operator.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow instructions.
• OSHA health and safety compliance knowledge.
• Ability to work at heights up to ~50 feet.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids, and perform preventive actions.
• Repair machines and equipment using hand and power tools.
• Service, adjust, and test machines and moving parts.
• Fabricate parts, machining, and design as needed.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, and test repairs.
• Dismantle devices to access defective parts using hoists and tools.
• Read work orders and manuals to perform maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering on special projects.
• Assist in tooling design and mold setup when required.
• Promote safety practices at all times.
