Job summary

Capital Vacations is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold and repair the Sales Center and Welcome Center in Gatlinburg, TN. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, basic repairs, and guest assistance to ensure smooth operations.

Schedule is 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with pay at $19/hour. Benefits include PTO, medical/dental with employer contributions, life and disability coverage, and travel perks. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Good driving record free of significant violations.
• Knowledge of the Timeshare industry a plus.
• Experience in general resort maintenance such as landscaping, construction, and upkeep.
• Able to read construction work orders and use basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Implements preventative maintenance programs for facilities and equipment.
• Maintains daily upkeep of Sales Center and Welcome Center including painting, plumbing, electrical work, and landscaping.
• Completes maintenance calls and general upkeep tasks.
• Notifies manager of issues as they arise.
• Assists guests when needed and performs other duties as requested.

The Maintenance Technician implements the upkeep and maintenance of the Sales Center and Welcome Center.

What you're great at:

• Implements preventative maintenance programs such as A/C filters, fire extinguishers, and appliances
• Maintains daily upkeep, included but not limited to painting, plumbing, electrical work, moving furniture, hanging drywall and landscaping clean-up
• Completes maintenance calls, general upkeep of Sales Center and Welcome Center
• Notifies manager of any issues
• Assists guests when needed
• Completes all other duties as requested
