Job summary

Capital Vacations is seeking a Maintenance Technician to upkeep the Sales Center and Welcome Center, including routine tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, drywall and landscaping. The role requires reading work orders and performing general maintenance, with responsibilities including assisting guests and notifying management of issues.

The position emphasizes preventive maintenance and timely completion of maintenance requests, with some flexibility for after-hours or weekend

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; clean driving record.
• Knowledge of the Timeshare/resort maintenance environment is a plus.
• Experience with painting, plumbing, electrical work, drywall and landscaping.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the Sales Center and Welcome Center; performs preventive maintenance.
• Completes maintenance calls and general upkeep tasks.
• Notifies manager of issues and assists guests as needed.
• Executes duties as assigned; may include moving furniture and landscaping cleanup.
• Adheres to safety standards and company policies.

The Maintenance Technician implements the upkeep and maintenance of the Sales Center and Welcome Center.

What you're great at:

• Implements preventative maintenance programs such as A/C filters, fire extinguishers, and appliances
• Maintains daily upkeep, included but not limited to painting, plumbing, electrical work, moving furniture, hanging drywall and landscaping clean‑up
• Completes maintenance calls, general upkeep of Sales Center and Welcome Center
• Notifies manager of any issues
• Assists guests when needed
• Completes all other duties as requested
