Job summary

Capital Vacations in Ormond Beach, FL, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to uphold the safe, efficient operation of our resort facilities. You will focus on preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs across building systems to minimize downtime and protect guest experiences.

Candidates should be able to perform diverse tasks from painting and carpentry to electrical and plumbing work, manage supplies, and coordinate with vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Driving record should be clear of significant violations.
• Experience in timeshare resort maintenance is a plus.
• Knowledge of essential maintenance and power tools and the ability to use them.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain the upkeep of the property according to procedures.
• Coordinate or inspect, operate, and maintain HVAC, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Order supplies promptly to complete projects and tasks.
• Perform general repairs: painting, walls, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, landscaping.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. Your primary focus will be on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure safety. If you have a strong background in maintenance and are passionate about providing exceptional service, we would love for you to join our team.

What you’re great at:

Maintaining the upkeep of the property based on standard operating procedures.

Determining the material, equipment, and supplies necessary to complete tasks.

Ordering supplies promptly to complete projects.

Performing general repairs needed, such as but not limited to: painting, constructing/patching walls, security hardware, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, filter maintenance, and landscaping.

Coordinating or inspecting, operating, and maintaining the heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.

Perform all other duties as assigned.
