Job summary

Saint Mary Home, part of Trinity Health Senior Communities, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for West Hartford, CT. You will handle basic repairs, assist with building systems, and respond to maintenance requests from staff and residents.

This role offers hands-on maintenance work in a long-term care setting with opportunities to coordinate with outside vendors and support room setups and moves.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years experience in building maintenance or repairs.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to lift, climb, and work in different conditions.

Responsibilities

• Handle basic repairs like fixing doors, lights, and plumbing.
• Help keep heating, cooling, and other building systems running smoothly.
• Respond to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
• Support room setups and furniture moves.
• Work with outside vendors when needed.
