Job summary

Monarch Communities in Southbury, CT, is seeking a dedicated maintenance technician to keep the senior living community safe, clean, and comfortable. You will perform routine maintenance, service equipment, and prepare apartments for resident move-ins, both inside and outside the property.

The role requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and basic computer skills. The wage is $21.00–$23.00 per hour, with full-time scheduling and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year hands-on maintenance or related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new applications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair building systems to keep community safe and clean.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance throughout the community.
• Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials and maintain SDS logs.
• Assist with emergency drills and evacuations.
• Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations and community policies.
