Job summary

Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold safety and comfort for residents, ensuring the home remains safe, attractive, and well-maintained. You will repair equipment, systems, and facilities throughout the property, contributing to a high standard of living for residents.

The role requires experience in electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance, with potential evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a related trade or position, preferably with expertise in electrical, HVAC and repairs and/or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Regularly walking throughout the residence and grounds to check equipment, maintain appearance, and ensure safety.
• Completing and documenting work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Director, including maintenance and repairs for the building, grounds and equipment.
• Following troubleshooting, reporting to the Maintenance Director any parts or supplies needed to complete repairs.
• Assisting the Director with completion and documentation of inventory, preventative maintenance, warranties, inspections, and overseeing work performed by outside vendors.
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
