Job summary

Medline in Waukegan, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our operations running safely and efficiently. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on conveyors, automation, robotics, and related equipment on 2nd or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities include documenting work in CMMS, conducting root-cause analysis of downtime, and assisting with building projects. Requires a high school diploma and 3 years’ experience; associates degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment repair and maintenance.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Willing to travel at least 10% of the time (within state and out of state).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot out-of-service equipment and escalate to leadership as needed.
• Document work in CMMS and maintain accurate logs of facility systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis of major downtime events.
• Assist with multi-person tasks and facility/building projects as assigned.
• Assemble and test equipment, analyze production delays, and take corrective action.
