Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our Waukegan operations running safely and efficiently. You will perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, automation, robotics, and related equipment, and document actions in the CMMS while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role involves 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm) and 3rd shift (10:00pm - 6:30am) on weekdays, with travel minimal.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience repairing and maintaining conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment.
• Fundamental understanding of machinery/equipment and basic MS Excel; troubleshoot PLC I/O logic.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment; escalate to leadership as needed.
• Document work in CMMS and maintain operation logs for equipment and systems.
• Assist with building and facility projects and root-cause analysis of downtime events.
