Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (Sun-Wed, 9:00pm-7:30am) to service conveyors, automation and robotics at our Grayslake facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain accurate logs in the CMMS system.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 3 years of relevant experience, and the ability to travel up to 10% as needed. The role emphasizes safety, equipment reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment repair/maintenance.
• Fundamental understanding of machinery and PLC logic; basic Excel skills.
• Willing to travel up to 10% within state and out of state.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, automation, robotics and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment, escalate to leadership as needed, and assist senior techs.
• Document work in CMMS and maintain operation logs for facility systems.
• Perform root cause analysis of major downtime events.
• Assist in two-person tasks and facility/building project work.
• Assemble and test equipment to verify operation; analyze delays and defects.
