Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the community grounds safe, organized, and well-maintained. You will interact with residents and ensure timely completion of service requests, inspections, and setup for new homes.

The role requires operating vehicles, adhering to OSHA standards, and collaborating with management, vendors, and residents. Prior refurbishment experience and HVAC/electrical/plumbing exposure are a plus.

Qualifications

• A valid in-state driver’s license is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a plus.
• OSHA certifications or trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency with industry software and using electronic devices/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep the community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and debris-free.
• Complete work in a timely manner without compromising safety.
• Respond to after-hour emergency calls per on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify leaks, and address issues.
• Assist in new home delivery and setup; report warranty work to management.
• Deliver resident notices as requested by management.
• Participate in team and safety meetings.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles per safety standards.
