The position requires on-site work, occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays, and includes call-backs during emergencies such as severe weather and post-disaster recovery. Safety-sensitive role with resident interaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance and hand tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy or willingness to learn.
• Prior maintenance, groundskeeping, or custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and responsive service to residents and families.
• Maintain buildings and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Patch and repair drywall.
• Perform minor painting.
• Care for tools and equipment.
• Assist with preventative maintenance under supervision.
• Carry, lift and stock supplies.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly.
• On-call rotation with department members.
