Job summary

LifeStar Talent, LLC in Venice, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform standard and skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of grounds and facilities at Jacaranda Trace. The role requires on-call rotation during emergencies and a safety-conscious approach.

You will work under the Facilities Director, perform minor repairs, manage tools, and ensure a safe, clean environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of general contracting, HVAC systems, chillers, generators, wiring, plumbing, carpentry.
• Understanding of Florida building codes/laws and State/Federal Regulations for Assisted Living Facilities
• Must be a self-starter who possesses strong organizational skills and communication skills
• Basic computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service to residents and families.
• Maintain buildings and grounds in clean, safe condition.
• Familiar with electrical and plumbing systems.
• Patch and repair drywall; minor painting.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Coordinate with Facilities & Engineering Director.
• Handle tools and equipment; regular attendance.
