Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Service Technician in Sterling, VA to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready units, tracking inventory, and maintaining documentation while supporting cost-control measures and safety requirements across property operations.

Qualifications

• Essential responsibilities require diagnosing defects, performing repairs per safety codes.
• Make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and scheduling.
• Maintain documentation for service requests and inventory handling.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare vacants for leasing and coordinate patching and inspections.
• Track inventory and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Maintain grounds and common areas as needed.
• Support expense control by minimizing waste.
