Job summary

Enterprise Community Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold property conditions, perform repairs, and enhance resident satisfaction across our community. This role requires hands-on skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general upkeep to maintain a safe and attractive living environment.

You will respond to service requests, participate in turnovers, and help keep the grounds clean and well-maintained.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.
EPA Section 608 Technician Certification Type II or Universal (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
Strong English reading and written communication.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable transportation and on-call readiness within 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance and upkeep across the community.
Ensure timely completion of resident service requests with quality workmanship.
Assist with apartment turnovers: repairs, renovations, painting, and cleaning.
Maintain safe, tidy, and trash-free areas including grounds and dumpsters.
Provide guidance and training to Maintenance Apprentices and Porters.
Respond to emergencies promptly and attend required trainings.
Support other communities as assigned.
