Job summary

Enterprise Community Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical condition, appearance, and operational efficiency of our properties. You will maintain a safe, attractive living environment for residents and support ongoing property services.

You’ll perform routine and emergency repairs, assist with turnovers, and help keep common areas, landscaping, and grounds well-kept. Join a mission-driven team dedicated to affordable housing and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with basic maintenance tasks and safety procedures.
• EPA Section 608 Technician Certification - Type II or Universal (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Strong communication and customer service oriented toward residents.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day maintenance requests and ensure timely completion.
• Perform routine, preventive, scheduled, and emergency repairs and keep logs.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with residents, staff and guests.
• Assist in apartment turnovers including repairs, painting and cleaning.
• Keep areas safe, tidy and free of trash; manage dumpster areas.
• Monitor community conditions and report needs to management.
• Maintain landscaping including watering; assist with snow removal.
• Guide and train Maintenance Apprentices & Porters.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in trainings.
• Support other communities as assigned.
