Job summary

YES Communities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the community grounds safe, organized, and well-maintained. You will interact with residents, handle service requests, inspect assets, and support new home delivery and setup.

This role requires a valid in-state driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to operate tools and equipment safely while following OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Valid in-state driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in home refurbishment or make-readies preferred.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool operation experience a plus.
• OSHA certifications or trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency with industry software and tablets.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on rental inventory and homes.
• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots.
• Complete work in a timely manner while upholding safety standards.
• Respond to after-hours calls according to schedule.
• Read water meters and identify leaks; resolve as applicable.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with new home delivery and setup; report warranties.
• Deliver notices to residents as requested by management.
• Participate in team and safety meetings.
• Uphold OSHA standards and PPE requirements.
• Assist with winter road maintenance when applicable.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles per safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and residents.
• Work safely around pets and service animals.
