Job summary

YES Communities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the community grounds safe, organized, and well-maintained. You will handle service requests, inspections, and asset upkeep while engaging with residents and coordinating with management.

You’ll respond to emergencies, assist with home deliveries and set-ups, and uphold safety standards. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are preferred; HVAC/electrical/plumbing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• A valid in-state driver’s license is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a PLUS.
• OSHA certifications or completed trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency in industry specific software products including the use of electronic devices/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work-orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris.
• Complete all work timely without sacrificing quality or safety standards.
• Respond to after-hour emergency calls according to on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify leaks and resolve issues within the community.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Aid in new home delivery and setup and report warranty work to management.
• Deliver resident notices as requested by management.
• Participate in all required team/safety meetings.
• Uphold OSHA standards and PPE as required by state law.
• Maintain safe winter road conditions through snow removal and de-icing when applicable.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles according to safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and residents.
