Job summary

Bell Partners in Plano, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of interior and exterior tasks across our community. You will repair and maintain systems, respond to resident requests, and help keep common areas safe and welcoming.

We value hands-on skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs. You’ll work with supervisors and vendors, follow OSHA safety guidelines, and contribute to a culture that supports residents and associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a similar facility.
• Basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.
• Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Respond to repair requests and maintenance concerns.
• Report equipment malfunctions and hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain resident privacy and obtain proper authorization before entering apartments.
• Keep maintenance items in a safe area to prevent injuries.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Coordinate with vendors for landscaping, painting, or asphalt work as instructed.
• Follow all safety/OSHA requirements and maintain regular attendance.
