Job summary

Bell Partners Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of interior and exterior community maintenance tasks across our residential properties.

You will support the Maintenance Supervisor with preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance, while delivering excellent customer service to residents and staff. The role requires 1–3 years of maintenance experience, basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills, and a commitment to Bell Core Values.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• Understanding Bell Core Values.
• 1–3 years maintenance experience in a similar facility preferred.
• HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications may be required in many communities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Always show respect for residents and community staff, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform routine interior and exterior community maintenance, as well as equipment maintenance as scheduled and requested.
• Respond to all repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff.
• Report equipment malfunctions and breakdowns as well as hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor in a timely manner.
• Maintain resident privacy and receive proper authority before entering resident apartments.
• Ensure that all maintenance items are kept in a safe area to prevent injuries.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Work with vendors as instructed, such as landscaping, painting, asphalt, etc.
• Follow all safety/OSHA requirements.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
