Job summary

PLK Communities in the United States is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to support residential communities in the area. The role focuses on keeping property conditions, safety, and resident satisfaction through hands-on maintenance tasks and responsive service.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC service (training available), and upkeep of grounds and common areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance or handyman work is required.
• Apartment/multi-family maintenance experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Respond to afterhours emergency calls as part of on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform property maintenance tasks across units and common areas.
• Prepare apartments for new residents.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Conduct basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work.
• Maintain grounds and common areas.
• Provide HVAC service and repairs; training possible.
• Ensure proper trash removal and disposal.

Currently, we are in search of a skilled full-time Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Maintenance Technician is to assist in maintaining the physical integrity of the community for the benefit of all residents, visitors, and staff:

• Perform any and all property maintenance needs
• Prepare apartments for new residents
• Completes work orders
• Basic Carpentry
• Plumbing
• Electrical Systems
• Mechanical Systems
• Small Appliance Repair
• Maintenance of the property grounds and common areas
• HVAC service and repair (willing to train)
• Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash
