Job summary

Wis-Pak, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Norfolk, NE to maintain equipment, respond to trouble calls, and perform preventative maintenance with a focus on safety, sanitation, and efficiency.

The role requires reading and following written and verbal instructions in English and includes travel to technical schools as needed. You will work a night shift 8:00pm-5:30am, Sunday through Saturday availability, with a pay range of $30.30/hr plus a $1.75 shift differential and comprehensive

Responsibilities

• Following all established safety, health, quality, and GMP guidelines.
• Responding to equipment trouble calls and performing safe repairs.
• Conducting preventative maintenance and documenting tasks and deficiencies.
• Operating power tools, welding/cutting equipment, and lifts as needed.
• Completing and filing all required documentation in a timely, organized manner.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining equipment, responding to trouble calls, and performing preventative maintenance--all while upholding the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Following all established safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
• Responding promptly to equipment trouble calls and performing efficient, sanitary, and safe repairs.
• Conducting preventative maintenance and documenting tasks, time, and any deficiencies.
• Performing bench repairs and operating power tools, hand tools, welding/cutting equipment, and man lifts as needed.
• Completing and filing all required documentation in an organized and timely manner.
