Job summary

Wis-Pak, Inc. in Mankato, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep equipment running safely and efficiently. You will respond to trouble calls, perform preventive maintenance, and document tasks and deficiencies.

This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, operating power tools and welding equipment, and occasional travel to technical schools, with a rotating 2-2-3 schedule from 6:00pm to 6:00am.

• Reliable and proactive with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in damp/noisy environments.

• Read/write/speak English sufficiently to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety, health, quality, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
• Respond to equipment trouble calls and perform efficient, sanitary, and safe repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document tasks, time, and deficiencies.
• Operate power tools, welding/cutting equipment, and man lifts as needed.
• Complete and file all required documentation in a timely and organized manner.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining equipment, responding to trouble calls, and performing preventative maintenance--all while upholding the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Following all established safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
• Responding promptly to equipment trouble calls and performing efficient, sanitary, and safe repairs.
• Conducting preventative maintenance and documenting tasks, time, and any deficiencies.
• Performing bench repairs and operating power tools, hand tools, welding/cutting equipment, and man lifts as needed.
• Completing and filing all required documentation in an organized and timely manner.
