Job summary

Wis-Pak, Inc. in Quincy, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our beverage production lines running safely and efficiently.

You will respond to trouble calls, perform preventative maintenance, and document all activities while adhering to food safety, GMP, and company policies. The role offers a 2:00pm-10:30pm Monday-Friday schedule with competitive pay ($32.40/hr base plus $1.75 shift differential) and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, medical plans, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in damp/noisy environments.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, GMP, and company policies.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining equipment, responding to trouble calls, and performing preventative maintenance--all while upholding the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Following all established safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
• Responding promptly to equipment trouble calls and performing efficient, sanitary, and safe repairs.
• Conducting preventative maintenance and documenting tasks, time, and any deficiencies.
• Performing bench repairs and operating power tools, hand tools, welding/cutting equipment, and man lifts as needed.
• Completing and filing all required documentation in an organized and timely manner.
