Timberland Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Retreat of Shawnee in Shawnee, KS. This role supports routine and preventive maintenance, turnover tasks, and property upkeep for a 342-unit community.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, maintaining curb appeal, and preparing vacancies for occupancy. A minimum 2+ years of maintenance experience and HVAC qualifications are preferred; on-call rotations may apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience.
• EPA universal HVAC license preferred.
• CPO license preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• HVAC certification preferred; ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and other community maintenance.
• Maintain community appearance to quality standards; clean buildings and amenities.
• Identify maintenance needs and report hazards to Manager.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and make-ready per manager instructions.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures; on-call duties may apply.
