Job summary

Shawnee Hills Senior Living in Shawnee, KS, is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Part-Time) to assist the Maintenance Manager with daily maintenance of the community and its facilities. The role ensures safe, clean, and comfortable operations for residents.

You will respond to resident requests, perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and structural repairs as directed, and handle exterior tasks such as irrigation, landscaping, pool care, hardscape, and roofing as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year certificate or 6 months related experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting and structural repairs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident and family requests for maintenance assistance.
• Follow directions to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting and structural repairs.
• Work outdoors on exterior tasks including irrigation, vegetation, pool maintenance, hardscape and roofing.
