Timberland Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Retreat of Shawnee in Shawnee, KS. You will manage general upkeep, unit turns, and preventative maintenance to deliver an outstanding living experience.

You will perform make-readies, handle HVAC/electrical/plumbing repairs, and respond to resident work requests while maintaining safety and quality standards on a rotating on-call schedule. Benefits include health insurance and 401k options.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience, residential maintenance preferred.
• EPA Universal HVAC license preferred.
• CPO license preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and major appliances.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, high-quality results for resident work requests and day-to-day community maintenance needs.
• Take pride in curb appeal by keeping grounds, amenities, and common areas above quality standards, ensuring a welcoming environment residents are proud to call home.
• Identify and resolve potential safety or upkeep issues, serving as a trusted set of eyes and ears to protect the property and its residents.
• Execute seamless make-readies, repairs, and final checks so new residents walk into a flawless home on day one.
• Provide reliable emergency support on a rotating on-call schedule, ensuring peace of mind for residents when urgent issues arise.
• Champion a culture of safety by following all industry procedures, protecting yourself, your teammates, and the community.
