Qualifications

• Requires two or more years of experience in maintenance field.
• Must hold a valid driver's license, have a reliable vehicle and current vehicle insurance.
• Must be available for occasional night/weekend on-call.
• Good human relations skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Physical capability to lift 80-100 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service and repairs in plumbing, painting, drywall, HVAC, electrical and vehicle systems.
• Complete apartment unit turnovers in preparation for new move-ins.
• Complete resident service requests promptly and accurately.
• Perform regular inspections of buildings, grounds and common areas.
• Paint and patch drywall as needed and assist with minor repairs.
• Consult with Supervisor on major repairs, replacements and/or contracts.
• Schedule and complete preventive maintenance.
• Maintain grounds and common areas and assist with light landscaping.
• Attend meetings, training sessions and seminars as requested by Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain working knowledge of fair housing laws and comply with OSHA regulations and company policies.
