ACC Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Madison, Wisconsin, to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and on-site support for a multifamily community. The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, safety, and timely completion of work orders.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of maintenance experience, basic plumbing/electrical skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience required.
• Multi-family property maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, groundskeeping, and troubleshooting.
• Must be able to physically inspect the properties.
• Familiar with tools such as circular saw, drill, jig saw, electrical tester, hand tools, power tools, and cordless tools.
• Maintain valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Flexibility with working hours and availability for on-call emergencies.
• Ability to prioritize and possess efficient time management skills.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Goal-oriented and team player.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Exhibits a high degree of professionalism and respect through appearance and interactions with others.

Responsibilities

• Monitor interior and exterior maintenance issues; inspect apartments, buildings, and common areas.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition; keep work area tidy.
• Repair electrical outlets, light switches, fixtures, and breakers.
• Repair plumbing: faucets, re-piping, toilets, sinks, unclogging drains.
• Perform general heating repairs and clean filters, compressors, and coils.
• Assist with on-call emergencies as scheduled; respond within 20 minutes when on call.
• Perform unit turnovers and maintain safety and policy compliance.
• Communicate with manager on daily work orders and provide status updates.
• Keep accurate logs of maintenance tasks and repairs.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and vendor relationships.
• Support other properties with maintenance requests as needed.
