Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automation, electrical, and mechanical systems to keep production running safely and efficiently on a 12-hour rotating schedule.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, working with PLCs, motors, sensors, and high-voltage equipment, while collaborating with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to drive continuous

Qualifications

• Minimum 35 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• At least 2 years of electrical/robotic work experience.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and instrumentation schematics.
• Hands-on troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
• Install, maintain, repair automation systems and control components.
• Troubleshoot PLC hardware/software and sensors.
• Work on 480V power systems with appropriate PPE.
• Analyze data from diagnostic equipment to improve reliability.
• Document maintenance activities and PM tasks.
