Job summary

Aerotek seeks a skilled Maintenance Electrician / Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment in Henderson, TX. This role emphasizes reliability, safety, and uptime in a fast-paced plant environment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, performing preventive maintenance, and reading schematics and manuals.

Qualifications

Technical schooling or trade certification is preferred.
Experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments is desirable.
Ability to work overtime, weekends and rotating shifts.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
Diagnose issues involving motors, VFDs, PLCs, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatics.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical and mechanical equipment.
Complete maintenance documents and work orders.
Support production during equipment failures and planned shutdowns.
Follow Lockout/Tagout safety procedures.
Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
