Job summary

Woodbridge in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to service and repair production equipment, read blueprints, and support downtime reduction with proactive maintenance. You will perform setup/changeovers, troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and ensure safety, 5S, and CI standards while coordinating with the maintenance team.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of industrial manufacturing experience, good hands-on skills, and the ability to work with minimal

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years industrial manufacturing experience.
• Good mechanical knowledge including compressed air, hydraulics, pneumatics, basic electrical, welding, pumps, and preventive maintenance.
• Understanding production demands and knowledge of EPP processing.
• Must have own tools.
• Must meet physical requirements of the job.
• Good communication skills.
• Lift Trucks/Aerial Lift certification and safe operation.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain production equipment and plant systems to support safe, efficient operations.
• Read blueprints, P&IDs, and technical drawings to troubleshoot and repair.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and downtime to restore production.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, tools, molds, and support systems.
• Set up, change over, and cycle machines safely and efficiently.
• Install and repair plumbing on tools and molds.
