You’ll serve as the primary maintenance technician supporting multiple local facilities, responsible for keeping material handling systems and industrial equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
Performing preventive maintenance on conveyor systems, motors, electrical equipment, and mechanical systems
Troubleshooting and repairing industrial 3-phase power systems
Diagnosing and repairing motor controls including contactors, starters, relays, and control circuits
Troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment (no programming required)
Reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs
Conducting mechanical repairs, equipment upgrades, and component replacements
Performing welding and fabrication repairs as needed
Maintaining conveyors and material handling equipment
Completing facility maintenance tasks including lighting and minor repairs
Documenting maintenance activities and preventative maintenance schedules
Traveling between local facilities using a company vehicle
Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems
Knowledge of 3-phase power
Experience with motor controls
Mechanical maintenance and repair experience
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems
Welding experience
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally
Conveyor maintenance experience
Material handling equipment experience
Distribution center or logistics facility experience
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Facility maintenance experience
You’ll support multiple distribution and logistics facilities throughout the region, including locations such as Greensburg, Pittsburgh, and Morgantown.
This is a hands‑on industrial maintenance role working around:
Conveyors
Material handling systems
3-phase electrical equipment
Motor controls
PLC-controlled systems
Mechanical equipment and machinery
Preventive maintenance is typically performed between production and sort schedules, giving you the opportunity to plan repairs while minimizing operational downtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, PA.
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
