As the Maintenance Technician, you'll serve as a technical leader responsible for maintaining and improving building operations across multiple commercial properties.
Perform advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Lead preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime
Diagnose complex building system issues and implement long-term solutions
Inspect building systems and identify repair, replacement, and capital improvement opportunities
Support maintenance of water distribution and fire suppression systems
Coordinate projects with vendors, contractors, and service providers
Review proposals, scope work, and provide recommendations for building improvements
Create purchase orders and maintain detailed maintenance records
Oversee contractor performance to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
Recommend energy-saving initiatives and operational improvements
Respond to work orders promptly and document completed work accurately
Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance support
Mentor and train Maintenance Technicians I and II
Collaborate with property management teams to enhance building performance
Deliver exceptional customer service to tenants, vendors, and stakeholders
Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
5+ years of commercial building maintenance experience
Strong experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Building Engineer Certification (NIULPE, BOMI, or equivalent)
At least one specialty certification in HVAC, electrical, boilers, refrigeration, or related field
Experience developing and executing preventative maintenance programs
Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
Experience using computerized work order management systems
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience mentoring or leading maintenance personnel
EPA Certification
Experience supporting multiple commercial properties
Vendor and contractor management experience
Familiarity with Building Engines, Prism, or similar CMMS systems
Strong project coordination experience
Knowledge of energy management and conservation programs

This is a Permanent position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
