Job summary

MAXX Properties is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Ridge in Midvale, UT. The role involves hands-on maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair to keep apartment communities in excellent condition.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of residential maintenance experience and is dependable with problem-solving skills. This full-time position offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1 year of residential maintenance experience is preferred.
• Basic to moderate electrical, plumbing, HVAC and appliance repair skills.
• Ability to perform general maintenance tasks and respond to service requests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
• Respond to resident service requests (bulbs, minor HVAC, caulking, repairs).
• Perform on-call emergency service as required.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor on special projects.
• Keep grounds and common areas free of debris.

Daily/Weekly Responsibilities

• Prepare or assist in preparing vacant apartments to a market ready‑condition
• Respond to resident service requests (light bulb changes, minor HVAC, caulking, appliance repairs, filter changes, etc.)
• Perform on‑call emergency service as required
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor on special maintenance projects as needed
• Assist with keeping grounds and common areas free of trash and debris

Who and what skills are we looking for?

• A minimum of 1 year of residential maintenance experience including work orders and turns
• Basic to moderate electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repairs and general maintenance skills
