Job summary

The Peninsula Regent in San Mateo, CA is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to maintain buildings, equipment, and community spaces while delivering outstanding service to residents. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, and responding to work orders and emergencies with safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in building maintenance, construction, facilities, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building maintenance systems.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high standard of workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and minor improvements to building systems, resident apartments, and common areas.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building systems and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, work orders, and emergency calls while providing excellent customer service.

We are seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to help maintain our buildings, equipment, and community spaces while delivering outstanding service to residents.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and minor improvements to building systems, resident apartments, and common areas.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building systems and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, work orders, and emergency calls while providing excellent customer service.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
• Support community safety efforts by following established procedures and assisting during emergency situations when needed.

Pay Range: $32.00 - $35.00 / hour DOE
