The Peninsula Regent, a premier not-for-profit Life Plan Community in San Mateo, CA, is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to care for buildings, equipment, and common areas while delivering outstanding service to residents.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and prompt response to requests, ensuring safety, organization, and quality workmanship across the community spaces. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in building maintenance, construction, facilities, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building maintenance systems.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high standard of workmanship.

Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to help maintain our buildings, equipment, and community spaces while delivering outstanding service to residents.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and minor improvements to building systems, resident apartments, and common areas.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building systems and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, work orders, and emergency calls while providing excellent customer service.

Pay Range: $32.00 - $35.00 / hour DOE

About You
