Job summary

Property Management Associates in the San Fernando Valley is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician-Rover to support residential properties. The role requires hands-on maintenance across plumbing, electrical, drywall and appliance repair.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience, a valid driver's license, on-call availability, and excellent organizational and communication skills to handle resident requests and manage parts and inventory efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, drywall, appliance repair, and rent-ready apartment preparation.
• Ability to handle objects weighing 25-50 pounds and stand/walk up to 8 hours.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain properties across the portfolio, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, and appliance repair.
• Manage inventory, order parts, and ensure timely maintenance completion.
• Inspect properties regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
• Respond to resident repair inquiries and process work orders.
• On-call status required.

Compensation:

• $23.00-$26.00/ hour-40 hours a week

Responsibilities:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, drywall, appliance repair, and rent-ready apartment preparation required, including comprehensive maintenance tasks.
• Manage inventory, order parts, and ensure timely maintenance completion.
• Inspect property routinely to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
• Promptly handle resident repair inquiries and work orders, covering various maintenance tasks.
• Possess extensive knowledge of maintenance and repair methods, tools, and materials.
• On-call status required
• Ideal candidate: Fluent English speaker, energetic, results-oriented, intelligent, organized, and a team player.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a high school graduate or GED is required.
• Ability to handle objects weighing 25-50 pounds, stand, or walk for up to 8 hours a day, involving moderate physical activity.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the capacity to comprehend and adhere to safety procedures.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
• A valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance will be needed.
