Job summary

Fairgrove Property Management, Irvine, CA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep rental properties in excellent condition at multiple OC-area sites. The role requires hands-on technical skill, strong customer focus, and reliability to support residents and the property team.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances, perform preventative maintenance, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management or related field with customer service experience.
• Strong knowledge of computers and technology including cloud-based software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Great communication skills.
• Organized and able to manage work orders for multiple priorities.
• Honest, trustworthy & accountable.
• Clean driving record with valid driver's license.
• Provide own tools to complete work orders.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, assess, repair, and replace HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on the properties or within the units.
• Repair or replace floors, ceilings, walls, siding, doors, door hardware, windows, and related items.
• Maintain accurate records of daily maintenance and actions.
• Interact with vendors and suppliers in a professional manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service to the team and residents.
• Support mission and values; communicate effectively.
• Complete emergency and routine service requests; after-hours when needed.
• Turnover make ready tasks and assist in preparing vacant units for new move-ins.
• Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash; utilize company software on devices.

• Full Time Position: 40 hours per week
• Compensation: $28.00-30.00/hr
• Responsibilities: Roving to different properties across OC Area
• Mileage reimbursement plan

• Perform other tasks as requested
• After hours emergency response as needed
