Job summary

Property Management Associates is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician-Rover to support properties in Buena Park, Long Beach and Whittier. The role involves preventive maintenance, responding to work orders, and keeping residential units in excellent condition across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, drywall and rent-ready preparation, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, drywall, appliance repair and rent-ready apartment preparation.
• Ability to manage inventory, order parts, and ensure timely maintenance completion.
• Promptly handle resident repair inquiries and work orders across various maintenance tasks.
• On-call and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, drywall, and appliances.
• Respond to and prioritize work orders from residents and property managers.
• Maintain tools and inventory, order parts as needed, and document performed work.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.

• $25.00-$27.00/ hour-40 hours a week
• Auto Allowance-$300.00/month
• Cell Phone Allowance-$25.00/month

Responsibilities

• Minimum 3 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, drywall, appliance repair, and rent-ready apartment preparation required, including comprehensive maintenance tasks.
• Manage inventory, order parts, and ensure timely maintenance completion.
• Promptly handle resident repair inquiries and work orders, covering various maintenance tasks
• Possess extensive knowledge of maintenance and repair methods, tools, and materials.
• On-call and weekend work may be required
• Ideal candidate: Fluent English speaker, energetic, results-oriented, intelligent, organized, and a team player

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High school graduate or GED required
• Ability to handle objects weighing 25-50 pounds, stand, or walk for up to 8 hours a day, involving moderate physical activity
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the capacity to comprehend and adhere to safety procedures
• A valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance will be needed
