Job summary

Fairgrove Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep rental properties in excellent condition across the Los Angeles area. You will be self-motivated, customer-focused, technically skilled, and able to service multiple properties efficiently.

This full-time position offers 40 hours per week with a compensation range of $28.00–$30.00 per hour and mileage reimbursement. Responsibilities include roving between properties, performing preventative maintenance, and providing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in property management or a related field with customer service experience.
• Strong knowledge of computers and technology including cloud-based software and applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Great communication skills.
• Organized and able to manage work orders for multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, assess, repair, and replace HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on the properties or within the units.
• Repair or replace floors, ceilings, walls, siding, doors, windows, and other building items.
• Maintain accurate daily maintenance records and action items.
• Interact with vendors and residents in a professional manner and provide exceptional service.
• Complete emergency and routine service requests and turnover make ready tasks.
• Assist in preparing vacant units for new move-ins and ensure proper disposal of trash.
• Utilize computers, tablets, and smartphones for work orders and communications.

• After hours emergency response as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in property management or a related field, with customer service experience
• Strong knowledge of computers and technology including cloud-based software and applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
• Great communication skills
• Organized and able to manage work orders for multiple priorities
• Honest, Trustworthy & Accountable
• Clean driving record with valid driver’s license
