Job summary

Ovation is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Las Vegas, NV to join our on-site maintenance team. This role requires HVAC knowledge, attention to appliance repair, and readiness to service common areas and grounds across properties.

The position includes weekend shifts, on-call duties, and participation in required maintenance trainings. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician II in our Maintenance Department.

Position Requirements

• One year with professional apartment management firm or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC
• Working knowledge of grounds/common areas
• Appliance repairs, service requests and apartment preparation
• Able to attend on-call after hour emergencies at least 3 days out of the week.
• Attend all Ovation Property Management maintenance training
• Working weekends will be required/ must have reliable transportation
• Drug Testing required and background check is mandatory
• Dependable, punctual, proactive and must work well with others
• Enthusiastic and with positive attitude

Required Certifications

• Universal HVAC EPA certification
• CPO (swimming pool) certified within 90 days of employment. Company will pay for testing if you are not currently certified.
• Driver's License (Preferred)
• HVAC Certification

Schedule

• 8-hour shift
• Weekends required, both Satuday and Sunday

Salary

$21.00/hour
