Job summary

Ovation in Las Vegas is seeking an Affordable Housing Property Manager for an on-site community. You will oversee leasing, occupancy, and compliance with LIHTC, Section 8, and HUD regulations, using Yardi, RealPage, or AppFolio.

You will lead a team, manage budgets and rent collections, coordinate resident events, ensure safety standards, and promote Ovation's brand. A high school diploma and 2–3 years of property management are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in property management, preferably affordable housing or multi-family.
• Knowledge of LIHTC, Section 8, HUD programs and compliance preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage occupancy and ensure income and eligibility compliance.
• Oversee staff training and performance to company standards.
• Coordinate resident events and maintain a welcoming community.

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Affordable Housing Property Manager professionalpreferably with Onesite knowledge. YieldStar knowledge is a great plus! We have an opening at one of our beautiful Affordable Housing properties, which is a premiere apartment community in Las Vegas with a design, construction, and management team that has earned a reputation for providing a high-quality lifestyle for their residents.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of property management experience, preferably in affordable housing or multi-family housing.
• Knowledge of affordable housing programs (e.g., LIHTC, Section 8, HUD) and compliance regulations strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, staff, and vendors.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, AppFolio) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong financial management skills, including budget preparation and rent collection.
• Maintain high occupancy levels while adhering to income and eligibility requirements.
• Ability to handle difficult situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and property upkeep.
• Provide ongoing training, support, and guidance to ensure staff performance meets company standards.
• Promote a positive community atmosphere by organizing resident events and creating a welcoming environment.
• Maintain proper safety protocols, handle emergency situations promptly, and ensure that residents feel safe in their living environment.
• Portray Ovation brand and culture with professional appearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
