Position: Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Location: Mocksville, NC

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor

Department: 3rd Shift Maintenance Mocksville

Classification: Nonexempt

Position Details:

• Hours: 4 days/12 hours, with flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Compensation: Based on qualifications and skills
• Employment: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot plant equipment
• Minimize production downtime through effective troubleshooting
• Assist with work orders and input data into SAP and other systems
• Communicate effectively with management and staff regarding maintenance needs
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

Exposure to indoor and outdoor environments, temperature variations, noise, humidity, moving vehicles, slippery floors. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, and bending. PPE is mandatory.

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year maintenance experience in manufacturing (food/beverage industry preferred)
• Technical skills in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, PLC, HVAC preferred
• Experience with various equipment including lubricating, cleaning, material handling, motor control, relay control, process control, and packaging equipment
• Basic math skills required
• Safety certifications such as Lock Out/Tag Out, Powered Industrial Truck, Hazcom
