Position Overview

Versalift is seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Service Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Mobile Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our aerial lift equipment. This position involves hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, and providing excellent customer service in the field.

Responsibilities

1. Equipment Maintenance and Repairs:
   • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on Versalift equipment.
   • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely and efficient manner.
   • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and reliability.
2. Field Service Calls:
   • Respond to service calls from clients in the designated service area.
   • Troubleshoot issues on-site and implement effective solutions.
   • Provide technical support and guidance to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.
   • Generate service reports and documentation for each job.
   • Communicate effectively with the service manager and other team members regarding work status and customer interactions.
4. Customer Interaction:
   • Interact professionally with customers to understand their concerns and address inquiries.
   • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring satisfaction with completed repairs and maintenance.
5. Training and Development:
   • Stay current with industry trends, product updates, and technological advancements.
   • Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mobile Service Mechanic or similar role, preferably in the aerial lift equipment industry.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of Versalift equipment or similar aerial lift products is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
• Willingness to travel within the designated service area.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification or vocational training in a related field is a plus.
