Job summary

Robin Run Village is seeking a Maintenance Tech to perform general maintenance and repair of the interior and exterior facilities on a beautiful 86-acre campus. You will adhere to current standards and company policies while supporting a community that includes independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing.

A typical day involves maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other building systems, responding to resident requests, and contributing to a safe, well‑functioning environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years related experience or training.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems in healthcare settings.
• Able to communicate effectively with Residents and families.
• Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Perform general operating maintenance, service and repair of interior and exterior facilities.
• Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment and emergency systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests from Residents for repairs in their rooms, including plumbing, electrical and lighting.

A typical day for a Maintenance Tech includes:

• Performing the general operating maintenance, service, and repair of the interior and exterior of the facility, in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards/regulations and company policies
• Maintaining scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on, but not limited to: HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment
• Responding to maintenance requests by Residents for items needing repairs in their rooms, including repairing plumbing, electrical, heating and replacing light bulbs

Maintenance Tech Requirements:

• High school Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of building equipment, building codes and building systems (HVAC, plumbing and electrical) in health care facilities
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents and their family members, and associates at all levels of the organization
• Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
