Job summary

The Grande at South Portland is seeking a Maintenance Tech to maintain a high-quality living environment for residents. Responsibilities include servicing HVAC units, elevators, fire/sprinkler equipment, generators, landscaping, kitchen equipment and emergency pull cords.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma and at least 3 years of related experience; HVAC certified and CPR certified are preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a referral bonus program in a supportive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on HVAC units, elevators, fire and sprinkler systems, generators, landscaping, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cords.
• Carry out general and preventive maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned.
• Respond promptly to residents' maintenance requests.
• Ensure vacant units are move-in ready according to community standards.

Maintenance Tech Job Summary:

A Maintenance Tech is responsible for maintaining an attractive environment that residents are proud to call home.

• Complete maintenance on HVAC unit, elevators, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment
• Perform general and preventive maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned
• Respond promptly to resident’s maintenance requests
• Ensure vacant units are ready for move-in according to community standards
